Surely I'm not the only user of AA Navigator
Now that this package is advancing - Further to the review, There is now a zoom facility, choice of male or female voice prompts, enhancements to what can be displayed (number of satellites, journey time, ETA Etc.) :D

You're the first AA Navigator user to admit it ;) Seriously though, until the number of users justifies yet another forum we'd rather wait.
Rest assured though, if demand justifies it we'll create an AA Navigator specific area.
FWIW I still have the original version loaded and despite requests have failed to get the latest version for evaluation _________________ Darren Griffin
you would of thought that an update would of been posted on the website?
looks like i will be sticking with the first version and making it my last _________________ Ipaq 3970, Ipaq 2210 X2, Smart ST V1, Tomtom V3+V5, CoPilot V5, AA Navigator, Tomtom Bluetooth GPS, Navman 3450i Jacket, Navman Bluetooth GPS, Holux GM270, Fortuna GPS-PocketXtrack

Hi folks,
It seems that mac_the_dog has received the latest version of AA Navigator (1.03) which has only been shipping for about a week and a half.
We will obviously be making an update available for existing purchasers, but there are a couple of issues to do with the packaging of the update that we still need to resolve.
clivers, and anyone else who's reading this, please PM or email me and I'll see about getting you updated in advance of the general release. Obviously, we hope you won't be making version one your last - I've created the address feature.request@aanavigator.com so that folks can let us know what needs changing. Fire away
cheers

i'll drop you a mail later matt..
so does this version have wav files? as i find the TTS very quiet on my 2210. _________________ Ipaq 3970, Ipaq 2210 X2, Smart ST V1, Tomtom V3+V5, CoPilot V5, AA Navigator, Tomtom Bluetooth GPS, Navman 3450i Jacket, Navman Bluetooth GPS, Holux GM270, Fortuna GPS-PocketXtrack

For the interest of anyone who's reading: Current versions of AA Navigator use WAV files (your choice of male or female). We went with text-to-speech for the first version but we ended up feeling the same way clivers does: too quiet and too crackly.
clivers: our sales people assure me that you're being kitted out with the latest version as we speak
cheers
Matt
