You should have a CD that came with your TTG300. This will also have your Product Code on that somewhere. You should be able to install both the program and the maps from that. _________________ Richard

Presuming it's similar to the Classic , it's on Add/Remove Maps where there are several options. _________________ Richard

I'll have to pass on that one then, perhaps someone with a TTG300 might be of more help.'' _________________ Richard

Indeed, the new GO products don't come with any application or maps included on CD. Everything is pre-installed.
On CD basically only voices and a manual are included. And a backup feature which you should have performed BEFORE changing the original SD
Only option for you is to contact TomTom, and ask for a 'repair', an RMA number. You will have to send back your SD, it will be reprogrammed and send back to you.
A lesson learned: always backup your sd card! |

Have you tried the following
On the disc click on set up
Then backup/restore settings
Then resstore settings from computer
It will then ask you to connect Tomtom and hopefully restore settings
Good lock |

Via his CD it said no maps found. So even if he would restore his settings and get the application to work again (which also can be downloaded from www.tomtom.com), there still is no map present.
The backup/restore functionality on the CD setup only backs up your settings, not the complete SD. This must be done manually. |

The map files would be too large to email and wouldn't work because of the activation code issue.
It seems strange that TT haven't got a map on the CD as they did with the Classic. It would be there purely for this sort of circumstance, or if a SD card went faulty later on. _________________ Richard
