Evening all
Anyone got their new GO 300 yet ?
Had mine on pre-order with PC world business direct for past week or so. Stocks were due in monday, then today & now its not going to be till the weekend. The reason - apparently one of the lorries carrying stocks (not sure if it was just pc world business's stock) was hijacked so new batches needed to be ordered.
Anyone confirm this or had delays from their own stockist ?

I dont think that this rumour is true. I have been speaking to a few retailers in the past couple of days and everyone is still waiting. Not heard of a hijack from any of these sources.
Most people are talking about getting stock this weekend for distribution early next week.
PS Darren has got one already... _________________ Mike Barrett |

Hi
I've got one on order from Maplins, :D when I ordered it they said the stock was due in on the 28th. Not heard anything but no money has been taken so far.
Just looked at the Amazon site who were taking advance orders, they are giving delivery times of 1 - 2 weeks |

Amazon have said (Yesterday) that will take an extra two weeks instead of shipping Friday _________________ J. |

Well, hijack or no hijack, it looks like its taking a little longer for stock to come through.
Patience is a virtue - alas! |

I have just been talking to the UK distributors, and was told that they should be reaching the retailers in the next few days. They are in the country now and are being dispatched as I write this.
Seems like the the big retail chains like Dixons, Comet and PC World get them first, then everyone else.
This confirms what TomTom told me a few weeks ago. _________________ Mike Barrett |

It looks like Dixons, PC World and Currys have added the 300 to their websites now. £369.99 with free delivery and in stock.
Maplin have added the 500 to their website now. |

a hijack of that value would have been reported in the transport press i havent heard anything but i doubt that was the reason that they have no stock _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .
