|
|
This is driving me mad ! I have recently changed from voda to o2 and now cannot connect to the Route 66's TMC server.
If I try to force a TMC update, (4, then 8) the program crashes. If I try to set up a TMC interval (10,20,30 mins) the program crashes. I cannot set up the GPRS connection as it refuses to recognise my GPRS connection.
I have GPRS wap & mobileweb, and can connect both Opera and my laptop to the internet via the the connection.
My thoughts are that Mobileweb is in fact a wap service in disguise and therefore, Route 66 cannot use it. This does not explain why the program crashes when I try to access it. Route 66 had problems with their server, but it is back on now I understand.
Does anybody know if MobileWeb is the correct service, or do I need something different ?
Thanks guys,
Matt |

I'm on a business contract. I can even connect to our office VPN so I know the internet bit is OK. |

Just an upate on this. The problem was the Nokia 6600 as a change to a newer 6680 phone cured the problem. |
