|
|
Hi,
I bought one of the re-badged Medion PNA100's from Tchibo the other day and, when it arrives, I'll need to get another memory card to allow me to put some of the other European maps on.
It comes with a 256MB MMC card (I think) and I was considering getting a 512MB card. The consensus seems to be to go for SD over MMC and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to good quality SD cards and also whether its worth paying that bit extra for the 'fast' cards.
Main options seem to be Kingston (don't appear to be branded as 'fast'), SanDisk ('fast' available but pricey) or Bytestor (can get a 512MB 'fast' one from Amazon for £30 - this seemed a good option).
Thanks for your help

Thanks - have had a read of that but I was wondering whether anyone could add anything more re the 'high speed' cards or the Bytestor cards (I know there is one positive comment in the Mitac forum).
Thanks

I have a 4700 and have the SD card in use but wondering from the above results if would not be better off getting the a CF card instead.
Am I reading it correctly that the CF card would run faster than an SD card? If so time to replace the 128md SD I got by accident. |
