New GPS for Pocket PC's that has REAL TIME traffic info?

Has anyone else heard of a new GPS for the Pocket PC's that gives REAL TIME traffic updates as you are driving?

Someone on another forum made a thread about it, but they did not give specifics.

Would appreciate it if someone could assist.


I own a HP IPAQ and am looking for a real time solution to the horrible traffic problems we have here in Los Angeles....

There are only two methods of receiving TMC (Traffic Message Channel) Traffic Data:

1. Via a GPRS Data Service (i.e. TomTom's Traffic Service which uses your cellphone) on a subscription basis.
2. Using a TMC GPS Receiver connected to a compatible application.

Both only work if the software is TMC aware, in the latter example Navigon and Alturion have bundles with special GPS Mice that have a TMC receiver and antenna built-in. These will only work with their respective software as TMC is licenced in the UK, if the software is not TMC aware or lacks the licence then you get no data.
