1) Yes.
2) Go to www.navman-europe.com , click on technical support, select English, put the word camera into the Enter keywords or phrase box and click Search. This should return article UK501 which tells you how to install the camera database into your unit.
Note that the filenames differ, but you still want the .csv files. The single Gatso file contains the same information as the Gatso_XXX files put together. Same for the Mobile filesets. _________________ Tim
select the link at the top of this website forum `speed cameras`
Download the database
Click the Navman SmartST Instructions, then follow them carefully and it should work?
in section 2 of the instructions it shows lat/long/names highlighted.
This line must be completely deleted and the line/space removed before you re-save the file.(for NAVMAN iCN610) ie within the instruction/demo, see the first data line, second row!..........starts something like this -2.1157
well put the cursor just in front of the minus sign, at the start of the line, then hit the backspace button to delete the worded text and the line above.
save the file, then continue to read the instructions and install the new saved file that you have just adjusted. when it is `saved to device` adjust the settings as requested.most are already ticked, then you need to browse to where you extracted all the downloaded files to. ie the TEMP folder, and now your looking for the path to the .BMP (bitmap) files GATSO in order to display a GATSO on the map. Here`s another site for POI`s......
think these are already edited, but check just in-case!
You may have to zoom in to see the icon when using the map when en-route. I have set my distance in feet to about half a mile warning, Remember this is 1/2 mile from any direction, so if the GATSO was on a round-about, would`nt matter which direction you approached from, you would get the warning and with audio?
You have 25 POI files so if you installed the GATSO file, that = 1 FILE install BP Filling Stations, = "2nd FILE and so on....
Recap....I downloaded to TEMP
opened the `Single File Version`
opened `csv files`
Selected `other`
opened ` Pocketgps_uk_sc_csv with NOTEPAD to do the editing bit then saved this file.
Repeated this sequence to the new edited `Pocketgps_uk_sc_csv`
save this to device using the Deskktop SmartST program/POI editor
Then browsed back to TEMP and now located a file within the `ov2 bmp files, for the GATSO map icon............
Hope this helps
Take care
Chas
