shortcut for checkpoint

Hi,
Can anybody tell me how I can make a shortcut for checkpoint on my PPC?
I have the TT3 shortcut which was automatically generated when installed, but I would like to be able just to tap a shortcut on the today screen to start checkpoint and thus TT3 without going through the start menus.....

Even better is to assign a hardware button to CheckPOInt.

In this way I can turn on my iPaq and have TT3 and CheckPOInt running just bu pressing the button.
