Use Globalsat 338 car charger with Ipaq 2410

Hello,
I have just bought a Globalsat 338 and a Ipaq 2410, two great products!

Now to my question. With the GPS I've got to chargers, one AC and one car charger. The socket on those chargers are the same as the one on the Ipaqs AC-charger. I can put on the adapter I've got with the Ipaq (round 5V socket -> Std Ipad socket), with perfect fit.

So, is it possible to use the GPS car charger with the Ipaq adaptor to charge the Ipaq in the car?
I guess (after reading on the both devices AC chargers specs.) they are both 5V Outputs but a little different Amps. (2A ipaq and 0,5A GPS)

I do it.

I have the BT 338 and an IPAQ hx4700.

I don't actually charge the BT, but as the cigerette lighter ends in a Y adapter, I have the IPAQ permentanly charging and if need be, I carry the other lead in the glovebox... just in case the 17 hour battery decides to slow down a touch.
