TomTom and Reception?

Every now and then (usually when you need it most!) TomTom mobile seems to lose you off the side of a road. There appears to be no satellite signal problem, it's just that you are say 100yrds off to the left of where it thinks the road is. Is this a mapping error, or is it a GPS error - any ideas?

could be a case of your going to quick round the roundabout or heated windscreen interfering

you could always try mounting the gps receiver on the dashboard over drivers side so its picking up more to the centre of the road, this solved a issue with a friends setup
