I have had a good look and I don't think this has been asked before.
I have a Jornada 548 with a 128MB CF card. I run Windows CE, with a Haicom GPS receiver. TTN3 runs perfectly on this set up.
My question is: will my set up need upgrading before I can run TTN5?
At the moment I could do without the expense of a new PDA so any advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks
Nick. |

We have not seen compilations for non-ARM processors yet. So for the time being TomTom Navigator 5 is assumed NOT to run on MIPS or SH3 _________________ Lutz

I don't really understand your reply to be honest but I assume I might be going shopping for a new PDA soon.
Thanks

Your Jornada has an SH3 processor whereas current devices all use the ARM processor. Earlier versions of TomTom supported both processors but as no current units have SH3 very few applications these days offer support for it. We have only seen ARM compilations of TomTom 5 and I doubt SH3 support will be available. _________________ Darren Griffin |
