I have recently purchased Navman icn510 and it is working well. I have downloaded the Safety Camera Database and installed on the Navman with no problems. The only problem I find is that I did have the Voice Guidance Instructions Enabled but found it very annoying so have turned this off. Since I have done this I don’t get a Audio Warning (Chimes) as I’m approaching a Gatso camera, Where as I did before with the voice guidance turned on.

Is this Normal ??? As I cannot find anything in the manuals about this, or on any Forums.

I have the POI for my Gatso’s on Active and I also have Audio/Visual Ticked.

can anyone help me on this matter

If you just switch the unit on without inputting any destinations or routes then the unit will track you and give you Speed Camera warnings without any direction voice prompts.

If you turn the Voice Guidance ON, but don't select a route, the audible warnings of cameras will return.

The Sound On/Off switch turns it all On or Off.

Because the On/Off switch controls the speaker output not the guidance function only. In other words it's all or nothing.

That's what unticking does - turns the sound off, completely.
