TomTom on SP3i...?!

Hello people,

I have the Tom Tom software installed on a 512mb Mini SD card in the phone and the Tom Tom 3 Bluetooth GPS receiver.

BUT for the life of me I can't get the Bluetooth connection to connect! I have tried the SPVC500 answers, being similar phones and tried the following exactly as written:

1) delete all pairings you have
2) go into configuration and disable outbound COM7 and OK
3) go back and re-enable COM7
4) power cycle phone
5) Go in and re-enable COM7 again (it's unchecked)
6) This will throw you into Bluetooth pairing
7) Create a new bond and pair key
8 ) Before doing anything else, power cycle phone
9) Go back in and double check that COM7 is now enabled under Configuration
10) Now use any GPS application and it should work.

BUT still no solid Blue Bluetooth Link light...

The next step will be the GPS signal but I hope this will logically follow after the above has been done!

The Bluetooth knows its there and pairs with the device (either no passkey or 0000 does the trick) but then thats your lot no joy getting a solid blue...

Please help people and let me know if I need any patches or different procedure's to get this to work

Hi there.

FINALLY looks like I got this sorted by applying the patch and some trial and error with a few settings!

Bluetooth light is on constantly and green GPS light flashes and seems to pick up signal - I'll keep you posted on any developments
