how do i delete unwanted voices without cd

hi, i want to free up space on my SD card by deleting unwanted voices. I have seen instructions on this forum on how to do so but these instructions utilise the tom tom CD which i have lost. Is there a way to delete the voices without the Cd

not the answer you want, but it might be easier to get a bigger card, which is what i did i went for a kingston 512mb card, which makes life a lot easier..just dragged it all into the laptop, put in the new card and dragged it all back again.......perfect........

To delete voices you need to delete two files for each voice. One is a .vif file and the other a NUMBERED data??.chk file.

If you just want to keep the english voices delete all but "engm.vif", "engf.vif" , "data04.chk" and "data05.chk".

DO NOT DELETE the unnumbered "data.chk" file.

There is a list of all the other language pairs but I can find them at the moment. German girl is "deuf.vif" and "data02.chk"
