Which has a brighter screen? Best for a convertible?

Hi guys,

I'm a complete novice to the whole sat nav thing and am considering purchasing either the Tom Tom GO or a Mitac Mio 268. As I'll be using the unit in a convertible, I need one with a really bright screen. Also it needs to be able to be programmed with Gatso information. Could someone please advise which unit would be best for my needs? Also my car is fairly loud so I need one with good audio instructions (I've read elsewhere that the Tom Tom is particularly good in this respect)

Both will be washed out in bright sunlight. If you're going to use a convertible then my recommendation would be a Navman iCN 635/650 or a Garmin StreetPilot 2610/2620. These have bright non-reflective screens and are designed specifically for use in convertibles and on bikes.
