Having read these forums for the last few weeks (and very helpful they have been) I've narrowed my choice down to the above 2 devices. Tom Tom 3 is my chosen software, as the roundabout issue & general support for Navigator 3 that comes bundled with the Acer N35 have put me off of that.
My research shows that I can't buy the Acer N35 without the bundled Nav3 software in this countrry, and the Mio 168 with Tom Tom would cost me around £330 with 256 SD card.
I am going to Florida on holiday after Easter, so can anybody advise, if I was to purchase either of the two devices there (at much cheaper prices), with UK Tom Tom if I can get it, would I be covered under warranty in this country, and would I be able to buy the appropriate AC lead when back in the UK?
I got my Mio 168 from Global Positioning Systems and their service is amazing, had it delivered in super quick time (despatched the same day as order and on free delivery costs).
