A quick question...

When you perform a backup of your Go does it archive your custom favourites?

So for example when I upgrade to V5 I may like to format the SD card. Do i simply restore from a previous backup the favourites etc....

Depends how you backup.

If you use the option on the TomTom CD you will only back up your user add ons like favourites etc.

If you copy the whole contents to your PC you will have a copy of everything.

I suspect that when installing V5 it will upgrade the TT software and leave the rest, including Favorites and PoIs, but whoi can really tell at the moment........

If you want to reformat. Copy all to PC, reformat, copy back - then upgrade.
