As a complete novice, I hope someone can help to guide me step by step on installing Poi Warner on my Transonic 3002 running Mobile Navigator 4. I have downloaded the files from the web site and have extracted them and using Active sync have used windows CE/ My documents to load them into the Transonic. These are now in the My documents folder in the Navigon. I understand from the Poi Warner web site that I now need a code to enable me to register, but nothing has as yet appeared. Can someone please help? |

To get a code you need to register on the web site, by paying a yearly fee, and then an email will be sent to you with the code. _________________ Richard

It's a one-off fee for the software, not a yearly fee. Perhaps you are thinking of the speedcamera database from poihandler.com? _________________ TomTom GO 910 |

I have tried registering but cant get past step 3 as I dont have a POI Warner ID number. The example at step 2 shows a PDA. Will a number still appear on a Transonic PNA?
Many thanks

You have to have your PDA connected via ActiveSync as you are following the different steps (or if not), click on the POI-Warner app on your unit, it will ask you to register, or look on the different setting tabs, one will bring up the screen with the number you need to enter at POI-Warner web site. |

It's a long time since I helped a colleague to load it but you get one number at step 2, I believe, and then you get another number via email when you've completed all the steps. Like I say, it's been a long time and I don't use Warner myself.
Have you tried contacting them? _________________ Richard
