I have read that the "2005" model of TomTom GO is "TomTomPLUS Ready", i.e. it already has bluetooth built in the hardware (but not enabled).
Is this true? Does anyone know how I can tell if I don't have the packaging any more? |

The "2005" TomTom models have yet to be released for sale...if you already have a TomTom Go then it is not bluetooth enabled.

If you've already got a TTG then it won't be Bluetooth enabled, as they are not on sale yet. It is Version 5 rather than 2005 that gives the difference.
To see the Version you have, tap the screen - Change Preferences - Page 5 - About Tom Tom Go. This gives software version and map details. _________________ Richard

I'm not 'technical' on these things, but could a bluetooth/USB adaptor be used to bypass the problem? |
