i myself have a uk version navman 510 and now my daughter has gone and bought one on e-bay from usa she thought that my sd card would give her uk maps as well as usa but this did not work - has anyone got a solution to get around this problem personal replies to

And public replies here. :D The solution is for your daughter to buy UK or EU maps for her 510!

Did you not get a CDRom with UK mapping on it with your UK unit? |

yes i have the installer disc and the uk and ireland disc but the us unit wont install them |

Listen guys, if this conversation is going to continue down its current path, which is the use of maps on a unit to which the maps aren't licenced, it will be locked. Any such information is not welcome on this site, and that includes the use of our PM facility. _________________ Tim |

Just trying to increase my knowledge on the virgin subject of my recently acquired Navman iCN 510 which I'm just getting to grips with. |
