|
|
Hi, I currently use TomTom Mobile on my Nokia 6600. I am aware of TomTom Mobile 5 being released in the future and was wondering if there will be still updates for TomTom Mobile or will they both be compatable with each other.
Sorry if this has been asked before.

There will be no further updates to TomTom Mobile 4. TomTom Mobile 5 will certainly be updated over time. Right now it's at version 5.000 . _________________ Lutz

But I guess it will be a free upgrade software only - not including the new TT BT unit? 8)
Perhaps they will offer a trade in....????? _________________ Audi S4

forget the software, it's secondary. What you get is a free map update... something very rare nowadays _________________ Lutz

as far as I know we're still at the same info level as after CeBIT. No defined date yet. _________________ Lutz

Found this on TomTom site:
All TomTom MOBILE owners with a valid product code are being offered an upgrade and can submit an application. If you have subscribed to TomTom news, you will receive an e-mail in early April 2005 with complete details about the upgrade offer and a link to the upgrade website.
No news on payment fees though so do I presume it will be free. |
