Fortuna bust?

I've had my clip-on for a few months and now I only get the green power light and the satellite fix light never lights up at all. It seems to be since I removed the battery to check what type of battery it takes the other day. The battery life has been poor ever since I got it.

I've tried switching it off over night as this seems to be suggested on several occasions here, but still no joy. Any ideas or is it bust?

Removing the battery from the Clip-On shouldn’t affect it. I recommend that you remove the battery for 10 minutes, reinsert the battery, switch on the unit, and leave it in a location with a clear view of the sky for 30 minutes. Do not move the unit during this time.
