Recommended GPS for iPAQ5550 unit

Hi all, I'm new here so go easy on me Wink

I've been trawling through the net for 2 days now trying to decide which GPS unit to g ofor with my 5550. Confused isn't the word Sad

I already have the TT3 software Smile

I'm really after recommendations on what will work best, for use in car mainly but would like the option of walkabout also.

I've read tge posts about the volume issue on this model so will probably need to go for an amplified mount. Main questions are below.

1) SD or CF mount?
2) Bluetooth unit? (any better than others...ones to avoid?)
3) If CF Jacket is used can you still mount the unit ok?
4) I guess if SD is used I loose the SD memory slot with my maps?

Get a Bluetooth GPS, much more convenient and will work in car or on foot equally well.

Bluetooth units are much the same, differences such as removable batteries, runtime on battery and size are the principle factors. I'd reccomend Fortuna, GlobalSat and Emtac models.
