Newbie question.
My wife's car, 2003 Fiat Ulysee has a built in Navtech system. Does anyone know how to download the speedcamera database onto the Navtech system
It seems pointless bying a standalone GPS based camera alert system, when the car is already equipped with the major part of the system anyway.

All help gratefully received!!

As with most Manufacturers SatNav solutions, the system does not support user uploaded POI data.

Even if you could upload the data, the system will only let you navigate to these locations, and display them on the map, the system does not have an option to alert you to their presence.

Once you've got used to the facilities such as speed camera warnings and traffic information (you won't get that on the Ulysse either), it's difficult to justify the manufacturers SatNav solutions, even if they are neater and do offer an easier resale (within certain sectors of the car market eg exec)
