Hello
I am new to GPS but have an iPAQ 2210 + a GlobalSat 318 GPS. I will be driving to Austria for a holiday this June. Does anyone know where I can obtain any digital maps of Austria that will work with my setup.
I have a copy of a European Road Atlas in digital form but worls like some more details maps of parts of Austria.
Thanks

As far as we know EVERY navigation package has maps of Austria. If you want to test one, use Mapopolis. Other than that it's completely up to your preferences. _________________ Lutz

Thanks for that information. Do you also know if there are any maps similar to our OS 1:50,000 / 1:25,000 available in digital format.

Hi David R
I think most of the pocket PC GPS packs for Europe are quite detailed. I have Medion software which is the same as navigon I believe, and having travelled round Austria on my Summer hollidays had a look at most of the places we have been and its all down to street level even small villages and mountain passes and tourist bits i.e Grossglockner etc. I expect that most of the other packages will be the same. I am away to Austria in June as well taking in a bit of Italy and Slovenia as well.
