Can the SD slot be used on the above or is it just a blank slot, if it is not just an empty slot is it possible to remove the plastic bung that Navman have stuck in. |

If the iCN 650 has a similar configuration to the 630, which I believe it has, then the SD Card slot on the top of the unit is for just that purpose. and that's for putting additional cards in
On my 630 all you do is to press down on the plastic 'Bung' as you call it and it pops out. It's as simple as that.
Regards

The 650 I have doesn't have an SD card reader behind it. |

Thanks guys,
I thought this was the case Dave as the 'bung' looks very permanent and I did not want to wreck the machine by forcing it. I guessed that as it was in so tight that Navman would not install a card reader on the other side, shame realy. other than this I am groing to like the machine after a shaky start. why oh why no battery, I could live without the touch screen but the battery.
