Newbie Q-what exactly IS TomTom citymaps???

Hi -would realy appreaciate some one just spelling it out for me as the posts that i have read and searched just imply and nearly touch upon it without actually telling me!!!! (u must know the feeling!)

Ok -I have a clie Palmv4.1 with a Hiacom 204E gps. Wanted to test out this gps bussiness forthe car basically to guide us from a-b, mainly around london but also beyond in (mainly) england. Wanted something cheap and useful -being able to work it out from where i was at any particular moment (ie gps function i guess) and also perhaps adding 3rd party software (esp for pseed cameras) would also be useful.

I thought TomTom Citymaps Europe version 2003 would be something to try out .....but what EXACTLY does it do???
-couldnt realy find much out on the web and know that some of you outthere actualy have it.

-I mean what is the difference between this and the 'full' navigator program? (in terms of functionality vs sexy add-ons (e.g. voice promts, 3d views, etc)).
-does it do the above?
-does it have a reasonable map of london?
-can i upgrade it later if/when i upgrade my pda (eg to TT5)?
