Hi
I am using the Pocket PC Creations software on my Ipaq H2210 and when I synchronise to my desktop, I think TomTom is conflicting with its operation and causing my Pocket PC to lock.
Everything works fine if I uninstall ToTom, but as soon as it is put back on, it causes the same problem.
Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any suggestions as to how I can get around it?

TomTom is likely running in the background. Make sure you exit properly by choosing the Exit Application option from the Navigator menu. |

I have my doubts about this running in the background. I have just brought an XDA IIs and installed TT Nav 3 on it, complete with the upgrade to v3.07. Without TT installed the OS is very stable. With TT on it becomes quite unstable. I have lost count of the number of soft reboots due to screen lock up. Quite often I will tap TT to start it and the instruction is just ignored, or it seems that way. Then I will go into Programs and tap it, start it and the dam thing locks up. Obviously the previous non-start left some data in the memory
I have of course emailed TT, and of course the reply was that there are no known issues with their software. Too easy to blame it on MS I think!

Do you have installed any external tool for TomTom like CheckPoint or GPSAssist?

Thanks for all the responses.
We have resolved the problem. Apparently TomTom 3 has some kind of script within it which blocks other applications using the coms port. This therefore causes the Pocket PC to lock up due to the conflict between the applications. TomTom have recommended that TT3 is uninstalled and version 2.9 is instead used (I think - its a collegues Pocket PC). This has resolved the problem and all is now working OK.
But i wonder why TT have allowed this software to go on the market without an update patch knowing such a problem exists???
