I do apologise if this is in the wrong section. But I am new to this.
I have just purchased the MIO 168, with TTN3, I have downloaded Checkpoint, and postcode search. The latter works fine. It took me two days to work out how to set up Checkpoint for the camera databases, but I finally achieved it. Went out on my first ride just to check the speed cameras.....yes it worked. I was warned for each camera i came across. Voice warnings were perfect.

But on day two, the cameras appeared on the map, but no voice warnings!!!! Voice directions are still working fine. But no warnings for cameras. I have checked everything, nothing seems to have changed, but something must have. Anyone had this problem, or any ideas, would appreciate your help.

Tks

Dave

Are you sure you started CheckPOInt (which you may have configured to start TomTom Navigator)? If you just start TomTom Navigator, CheckPOInt will not alert you to cameras.

No, but you can get Checkpoint to start Tom Tom. Smile

On the general settings in Checkpoint tick the "Automatically start Tom Tom when Checkpoint is started". You can also assign a button on the iPaq to open Checkpoint, which automates the whole process.

Regards

Alan
