Destinator 1 and Compaq iPaq H3550

Hello,

I am really new at this and am having a problem.
I have an old version of the Desinator 1 disk and a Compaq iPaq H3550.

I have loaded ActiveSync and connected the iPaq to my laptop. I can transfer files, load music, etc with no problems. However, when I insert the Destinator disk in my laptop and run the program, I get an error message saying " No Connection with Mobile Device". I cannot install the software since it doesn't see my iPaq.
ActiveSync and the mobile device are connected because I can transfer files between my laptop and my iPaq??
Any help would be appreciated.

Found the problem. The old Destinator needed Active Sync 3.5. It wouldn't work with 3.8 but worked fine with 3.5.
