I took a turn off that took me a shorter way home than Navigator 2 knew about and Navigator 2 constantly tried to get me back on to the recommended course that it had set! Navigator 1 would never do this, it would (after about 3 turn off's) stop telling you to 'turn around' and would re-calculate you another route. Am I correct in saying that Navigator 2 will constantly tell you to get back on the pre-planned route until you press the 'Alternative Route / Alternative' buttons?
If so, I think that I preffered Navigator 1's way of working. (I'm not complaining, just bitching)

Yesterday, I took a drive around to test Navigator 2. For me, it always seemed to select a new route as soon as it could work out that there was indeed a quicker way from wherever I happened to be than the original route selected. _________________ Kam |

Yep. Big time! Just wish they'd tour the UK again, but I don't think it's likely now _________________ If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice. |

I noticed that TTN2 will try to get you back on the original route more than TTN1 but will eventually give up and replan the route. |
