External antenna rikaline 6021 x6

Hello there , my gps is always unreliable like it will work for a few mins then stop working and so on , sometimes it stays on for a while but other times i just cant get a good reliable sat lock.

Soo i was thinking of buying an external antenna , one that plugs in to the side of my gps receiver ?

Has anyone had any experience of using one with a 6021 x6 and could someone please advise me on which one to buy!
