This is my second download of the PGPS World database and I have two questions
1) I now seem to have two poi catagories the same one "pocketgps uk gatso" and another "pocketgps gatso....." with I assume the ..... refuring to an extention that I can't see on the screen. I have enabled/disabled one or the other and they seem to show the same camera locations and symbol. Should I delete one or other of these ?
2) The uk gatso with speed limit i.e. 20 uk gatso, appears a new feature. Having enabled these I can't find one on the mapping. Is this something for the future ? The 30/40 file size would indicate these should be in use. |

There are details of the files in the download, an explanation of the camera database and how it’s spilt up into camera types here
Also perhaps you could view this forum and leave a comment? _________________ Ian.

Thanks for the leads - As a beginner to GPS it is sometimes difficult to follow the "tried and tested" download instructions that leave out some of the finer points. It is easy to take a everybodys knowledge for granted. I must admit without your guidence I would not have disabled the gatso poi and enabled the gatso.... poi file and all the relavant limit poi's files. There certainly nothing in the download instructions to cover this.
Still all well that ends well, and I am now fully up and running.
thank for your quick response.
