Battery fast?
As i want to hard wire the power adapter under the dash to hide all the wires and the GPS mouse wires have been hidden under the headliner, running down the a pilar so i need to hide the rest.
So just wondering if its okay to keep it on all the time?
(ps really liking the site)

The drain on the battery is very small, but will depend on what capacity battery your car has and what else is also drawing power.
I can leave mine parked up for up to a week before I need to think about giving it a run. _________________ Graham.

Just as an addition, mine is powered from a permanent live feed that is not controlled by the ignition switch but goes through an in-line fuse, 2 amp and a 2 pole switch so that I can switch the power off should the need arise. _________________ Graham.

When i get time i think i will just wire it into the fuse box and get the feed from one of the spare fuses which are only live when the keys are in the ignition.
Thanks

I leave mine plugged into the cig lighter all the time and haven't had any problems thus far. Although the longest the car has been idle for is about 4 days.
I like being able to switch on my pocket pc and the fix is there immediately. |

Well its been in the car for a while now and it doesnt seem to cause too many problems.
I also want to hide all the wires so that the cig lighter is free and doesnt look like a mess.
