I'm very new to PDA's and even newer to GPS...
I have a new Globalsat BT318 which I have linked to an IPAQ 3715 which is loaded with Pocket PC 2003 Pro.
When I loaded 'GPS Info' the PDA informed me that it was designed for an older version of windows and might not display properly.
I managed to get the GPS to talk to the PDA but on the GPS Info screen I don't have the GPSinfo tab so all I can see is a list of streaming numbers. It works fine on the PC...currently showing a fix with 9 satellites from indoors (which is nice ) but I'd like to be able to see the same thing on my PDA.
I have no GPS applications as yet so I really would like to be able to see something...See how fast I walk...check the car's speedo etc...all the really exciting stuff
Any ideas |

tell us where you live (update your profile) and what you want to use it for - we can then give recommendations .
If you want to play around go to Mapopolis.com and download the demo maps of your area _________________ Lutz

Thanks Lutz.
I'm based in Perth, Western Australia. Main uses will be street navigation and occasional offroad navigation. Might also get used as a backup to the chartplotter on the boat.

Navman and ALK CoPilot have maps of Australia (Destinator too, I think)
For Offroad navigation I can recommend your very own OziExplorer - second to none. _________________ Lutz
