Mio 168 questions

Hi,
I'm the new owner of a Mio 168 with TT3, I've got a couple of questions:

Does anyone know of any way of changing the battery yourself if need be? Does anyone sell spares?

Is the backup facility in MS ActiveSync any good? I know a lot of people take about Sprite Backup but I'd prefer not to have to fork out any more money if ActiveSync can do the job.

Batteries can only be replaced by returning your device to your dealer. Any attempt to replace the battery yourself will result in a loss of all waranty.
However, if kept charged regularly and not allowed to fully discharge, your battery should be good for several years of 'normal' use. Li-ion batteries don't take too kindly to being regularly discharged.

ActiveSync's restore feature is widely regarded as not very good.
That is why people tend to use the latest version of Sprite Backup.
