Things just go from bad to worse. Because I activated a preview copy on my laptop, I now have my nice PAID FOR upgrade, which I want to now install to my 3870 to test these Bluetooth issues that people seem to be having. Unfortunately TomTom won't let me install it, as my laptop immediately comes back with Activation Failed, and doesn't offer you the option of entering a separate activation code.
Now this is poor!
So, if any of you want to loan your PC to a friend to install their TTN2 CD, like if you want to do them a good favour rather then let them have to do it, you can't!
Awaiting a response back from TomTom... |

Same thing happend to me. Have not mentioned it before but that seems to be another bug in TTN2. I think you can resolve your issue if you go to http://www.ttcode.com and follow the directions there.

You can't actually put anything on the PC, but if you try to install it to a separate Pocket PC, it will store the Activation on that PC also using up another activation. |

Thanks Decker, tried TTCode.com and managed to do it that way. I don't like it that there's no way to remove the activation code from the PC! |

Sorry didn't make it clear in my post, it was actually Darren who suggested it around 7:40am this morning, gave it a try around 8am and that fixed it and was able to drive to work with TTN2 and the Socket BTGPS running. Sorry no extra star's |
