Speed Camera POI

I have a SNOOPER S4 camera and laser detector and a HP Navigator Bundle with TT4.4. How accurate are the poi for the speed camera and where do they come from

I currently subscribe to a database for the Snooper which I am told is updated regulary. I am reluctant to sell the snooper as it detects mobile camera upto 2 miles away and the TT only highlights the sites yards away by which time you could have been caught.

Hi snooper,

The camera locations have all been logged and reported by users of the PocketGPSWorld camera database. I’ve found the POIs to be very accurate for the sites that I’ve passed. I’ve also found the PocketGPSWorld camera database to be more accurate that my Morpheous Geodesy. If you find that a camera site is recorded incorrectly (wrong position, speed limit, etc) then please let Richard (Oldie) know!

If TT only warns you of mobile site location a few yards away, then why don’t you increase the Proximity Alert distance?
