I have a Dell Axim with the TomTom Navigator installed. I'd like to install the sound warnings for speed cameras. How do I find out what version I'm running. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Then what do I do/go to proceed?

Thanks in advance.

In any screen except the Navigator screen, chose File -> About, which will tell you what version of Navigator you're running.

Basically, you need to install CheckPOInt (2.0.2 from our downloads area recommended for the Pocket GPS World camera database), POIEdit and set up POI Sync.

Instructions on the POIs are here. I suggest you install those first.

For CheckPOInt, install the program through ActiveSync, run it, and then tap on its icon at the bottom of the Today screen. You need to go through each menu in turn. Once you've got the POIs installed, what you need to set up in CheckPOInt is fairly obvious.

Okay, so what does "Cannot retrieve proxy settings. Probably these are set to auto-detect or auto configuration" mean?

Does the information here solve that problem?

I can see, using a moderator privileged function, that you're using BT Broadband, BT Yahoo ADSL or similar - which doesn't use proxy servers. Make sure the "Automatically configure" check box mentioned in that FAQ is unselected in Internet Explorer.
