Hi, i am a beginner to GPS. I have bought a Ambicom Ambeon 16 channel Bluetooth GPS to use with my Toshiba e800BT pda. When i paired them in the bluetooth settings the passkey and all were done successfully. But the connection status always shows NOT CONNECTED. But when i go into destinator to operate, setting the Com port and Baud rate, the COM port was set to the same as the bluetooth setting at com6 when i paired the two devices. The lights on the BT GPS unit flashes indicating a connection but the PDA shows "GPS not FOUND" message. I hve treid all the different Baud rates and the Protocol settings and still no work. Can someone please help me ?
Thanks.....

Hello dagauy1482

Have you got a clear view of the sky, and also it can take several minutes to get a lock, sometimes my system takes 4-5 minutes, other times within one minute?

Some systems will just not work indoors, or try it by a window.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes i tried it in my front yard on the street with plenty of sky. No tall buildings around. I have left the unit there for half and hour but still no luck....
