I bought the aldi bundle 18 months ago & I am very pleased with it. However, I needed GPS software that 'Optimises Stops' So, I bought Co-Pilot 5 to run on my medion (MDPPC 200) . But, it wont pick up a GPS signal. I've tried everthing, even been in touch with RoyalTek.
ALK are igoring me!!!
After a long phone converstion with the software suppliers they now say that MEDION PDA's will only run their own (Navigator) software!
Is this true? Has anyone else tried to run different GPS software on their Medion PDA.... If not what do I need to do????

Hi Melb.
You can certainly run other software as well as navigator4 on aldi medion bundle.I use tomtom3 in uk and navigon navigator4 in france with a tt3 Gb map , and the original medion map of france , using a 512mb storage card.
My device is the md95000 , the GPS options are ;serial cable on SP2 , TomTom Navigator GPS , blue box ticked.
There are other posts on this subject.

Cheers unclebill,

I cant see any reason it shouldn't run other software.

But, I think the GPS settings you refer to are unique to tom-tom, and don't 'appear' to be available in CoPilot.....

thanks n regards
