Hello everyone, I`m still debating which of these two (TTG or Nav510) to buy for my courier work so would like to ask a few questions please -
1. The TTG is suppied with power supply for 12/24 volts lorries/cars is this the same with the 510 ?
2. Are both available with postcode search ?
3. Which has the most updated and reliable maps?

Personally I have used a NavMan and find it excellent.
As regards to a few questions I dont know about the power supply with a navman but the mapping system is about the same I believe they both use teleatlas mapping They both use 'part' postcode search which with tomtom which i have is sometimes unreliable and having street name will almost always get you to that street at least.
Hope this helps, im sure some of the other more experienced members will elabrate more.

Not sure about the 510 power supply but I think it's 12V in only.
Both have postcode (not full, upto 5 digit only) search.
Not sure about the maps, but I think they are about the same.
Do you do multi-drop? The Navman will allow you put upto 14 destinations ito one trip. The GO won't do this.

Thanks for your repiles.
Yes I do multi drop (very new and inexperienced) and finding my days / nights are much longer then they should be with me using paper maps 
I drive a 7.5t and I`m unsure as someone told me it`s power supply is 24v another said 12v so just checking which one I`d need (how would I find out exactly what power supply it is please)
Yes, the multi drop destination planner would be good but I dont think I`d mind loading a new one in every time I did a drop as I`m only doing about 10 drops.
The last thing I want to do is spend my hard earned £400 to find out that I should of got the other one.

| OK looking on the global positioning website review of the 510 it states this - Power Source 12/24V Dc or mains adapter, which answers one of my questions :D |
