Building a database for poi

I have had a look through the forum, to see if there was any guidance on how to start a POI database from scratch, but couldn't see anything
ie i have the addresses so is it easy?
I would like to try and put something back for all the help i have been given recently
It really is nice to view a group where there isnt any sniping!!

Have a look in the POI-Sync forum at the top where the sticky posts are.
