|
|
I bought Navigon 4.2 and use a Toshiba e750BT and Socket Crux II Bluetooth. Navigon software is running but it looses every 5 seconds the connection to the GPS. I looked in "spgs.ini" and I found: Timeout=5. I changed timeout=10. Now the GPS is found for 10 seconds and then lost for ten seconds and so on. I tried timeout=0 and no connection to the GPS. Any Idea what to do?
Best regards

Hello Horst,
Make a backup of the spgs.ini file, then remove the Tomeout heading from the file, or try just leaving the timeout= with no entry at all.
See if that works, if not you will need to put the heading back.
I am not familiar with your setup, but do you on some menu somewhere have an option for power saving turned on, that could be the problem. |

Hello pocketgps,
in the spgs.ini-file I set timeout= no connection
I removed timeout no connection
I do not use trickle power!(cruxview)
I used gpsgate (1.03) - I get a connection - but 5 seconds connected 5 seconds not connected and so on (tese means timeout=5; changed timeout=10 all the same but with 10 seconds).
Advice of Franson support to install gpsgate 1.10 beta 13 - I can not establish any connection! - Does not work.
Any idea?
Best regards
