Grrr!
This sucks !! I bought Tom Tom bluetooth 3 yesterday and have installed the doftware onto XDA IIs. Software works fine but the GPS reciever is not working. I have it all charged up and pressed the button to fire up bluetooth !! Nothing is happening !!! I know the blue LED does work cause that has flashed for about half a second but the bluetooth flash will not stay on to create a bond !!

I am VERY disappointed and angry. Can someone please help because if this is not sorted then the whole thing is going back to Dixons this week !! Am not happy !!! :grrr: !!!!

did you go into the gps application and set the bluetooth connection settings in the software? also do you see the bluetooth gps connected in the bluetooth manager screen. if it is actually connected in the bt manager screen but tomtom doesn't see it you may have to manually set the bt settings in the tomtom software. i've seen similar problems with my new bluetooth gps and tomtom usa software. somehow my bluetooth connection was change to wired serial on com1 when i tried to run it earlier this morning.

Hi WirralBagpus

Think i can help you here, i had the same problem till i asked one of our support guys (O2) why it wasnt working.

If you tap "start", "settings" , "connections" then "beam", you need to make sure the box in there titled "receive all incoming beams" is not checked (ie blank), this for some reason interferes with bluetooth so you wont get a connection if this is activated.

Hope this helps!
