I have come here following advice from "Digitools" as I am having problems installing "ukpostcode" on my HP 5600 PDA.
It went well at first but now when I type in the post code and tap the navigate button I get the error message "ukpostcode.dat not found in .exe folder". Being not very competent with computers I am at a loss with this. Any ideas?
Thanks |

When you copied the ukpostcode.exe to Winsows start menu, did you paste it as a shortcut which you should have done.
If you just copied and pasted it then it won't work and gives the error you are getting _________________ Graham.

Graham,
Thanks for this. I have done as you suggested but now get a new error message telling me it can't follow the shortcut as it was not created on the PPC....er how do I create a shortcut on the PPC?
Interestingly I can now make ukpostcode work by accessing it via the file explorer on the PPC.
