Switching platform to TomTom mobile?

I couldnt find a posting on this but I am sure it must have been raised before so sorry.........

Does anyone know what is involved in switching from TomTom Navigator to TomTom mobile. As a customer of TomTom Navigator, I pay around 50EUR each year for an upgrade and am hoping/expecting to just switch platform the cost may be similar??

Surely I dont have to buy the product from scratch as though I am a new user do I? 8O

It is just the software that I am interested in, not a package with the GPS.

You are not considered a typical user, and there is no "upgrade" between platforms. You can ask TomTom , but i'd think you will have to pay the full price.
