Hi geedee,
to the forum!
Is your storage card full?
What message are you getting?

Hi Robert
No, storage card is 256mb
when I place sursor over new poi, I then go to add as poi, which brings up a screen with only pocket gps options.
There is a poi category with a flashing cursor at the top but I cannot enter
(for example ) a cash point. It allows me to enter on the screen cash! but after this entry it shows a Camera sign on the map.......

Hi geedee,
Unfortunately I don’t have TomTom Mobile. But I'll do my best! ;)
Are you trying to install other POIs that have already been created or are you trying to add specific POIs that relate to you, e.g. “Friends and Family”, “Business Clients”, etc?
If you’re trying to create say “Friends and Family” POIs, then I think that you have to first create the POI category and then you can add POIs to that new category.

Hi Robert
What I was trying to do, was insert an additional cash point under the cashpoint poi.
It is not that important, but I think you are quite correct in that I should really be creating a new catagory say "new cash points" and placing it under the new heading.
Anyhow Robert ,many thanks for your help which is most appreciated and I shall continue to experiment when time permitts.
regards

Hi Graham,
Are you trying to add an entry into a default standard POI category that came with TT Mobile?
If you are, then unfortunately it won’t work, you cannot delete, add, or modify entries in the default standard POIs in TomTom products.

Hi Robert
I wish I had read your post last night, before I did my head in trying to input into the standard POIs.
Possibly reading the manual would have helped me also !!!!!!!.
Many thanks again for you much appreciated help.
As a further point re the Nokia 6600, I have found that providing you exit the TT programme via the official exit in the TT menu, then battery life is extended up to 3 days (on a full battery) . I was previously getting only 1 day by just moving to my contacts without closing TT properly.
Regards
