Hi there !
Do you know whether it is possible to create your own POI warning sounds, instead of the predefined, on a TOMTOM GO ?
Do you know if Viftool can do that ?
Thanks ! |

I've tried that, but that was not working for me (Instead, default sounds were always played when testing the POI alerts).
Did somwone tested the full path from creating his own sound file, and associated it to the POI he wanted ?
Thanks ! |

What I did was rename data.chk to data._hk, then copied 2852_ etc to the same folder on the SD card - and renamed it.
If you are still getting the same warnings it's possible that if you did not rename, or delete, the original data.chk the renaming of the new file was not completed.
Make sure there is no data.chk file in the folder before renaming and/or copying.
Does that help/make sense _________________ Richard
