Newbie to TT & Navigator

Hi, I've got TT2 installed on an XDAII & everything is working fine (even the POI's). My question is that the maps in TT2 are a bit outdated. Where / Can i get updated ones & how much will it cost & are there any other upgrades needed & if so will this cause any trouble to the POI's (I only ask this 'cos it took me ages to get them working).

Any help would be really helpful.

to the forum!

Unfortunately you missed the TomTom deadline of 1 December 2004 for upgrading from TTNav 2 to TTNav3 for the reduced price of €49.00 + €9.95 P&P.

You could buy the current TTNav 3 software only package and hope TTNav 3 users get a reduced upgrade price or wait a while longer to see what the successor to TTNav 3 will be like.

I had no problems upgrading from TTNav 2 to TTNav3. I think even my favourites survived the upgrade.

However I would advise you to backup your PPC with Sprite backup and then make a backup of your storage card, before you upgrade.

If I were you at this point I'd hang on for a couple of months and see what TomTom does in regards to releasing a new product. You've waited this long to upgrade, a little longer wouldn't hurt
